Want to learn self-love tips for mental health? Because we truly can’t give what we don’t have. And if you’re seeking to feel happier, to have more energy and motivation to get things done, but you feel like you’re spent and burning both ends of the candle every day doing for others and doing what has to be done and by the end of your day you are out of gas and then you get up to do it all over again. Think about self-love as stopping by a gas station and putting fuel in your tank. It’s necessary that you take some time every day to refuel your own tank so that you can give from a place that you actually have to give from.
When we feel better, we perform better that is the bottom line. And if we are giving from a place of depletion then oftentimes we are giving from a place of guilt, obligation, fear of missing out, not wanting to appear a certain way to others and all those places are draining, they are exhausting.
But if we really are learning how to give to ourselves first, in a way that is going to recharge, replenish and energize us and we feel good, then everything we do instead of taking from us, we feel good when we are there, we feel good when we interact with others and we are able to set healthy with ourselves and others so that we can maintain a healthy state of mental well-being. It’s truly life-changing when you are in control of your mood, energy levels, and emotions.
