This app was designed to train your breath from a rapid erratic tempo to a slow and uniformed tempo through its customized settings.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- Set aside 5-20 minutes to practice each day or more
- Choose a setting where you won’t be interrupted
- Find a seated position or lying down comfortably
- How are you? Check-in by selecting an emoji that best expresses your overall state of mind, level of stress and condition of tension in your body
- Use the TIMER ICON to set the duration of time for your inhale, hold, exhale and hold (1 cycle of breath)
- We recommend starting with a 4-2-4-1 breathing cycle for 5-20 minutes or work your way up to it. (inhale 4 seconds, hold 2 seconds, exhale 4 seconds, hold 1 second: repeat)
- How are you now? Check-in at the end of your session to compare your mental state, stress level and condition of tension in your body by selecting the corresponding emoji.
- Track your progress: Use the EYE ICON to track your progress and save customized cycles of breath so you can easily access your breathing practices.
- Set a Reminder: Use the BELL ICON to set daily reminders to BREATHE. Make breathing a consistent and daily practices for the most benefit.
