Reviving the Beloved Within will address the following questions & topics:
“How do we act with authenticity on the inside and the outside, with ourselves and with others
even when they hurt us/we hurt ourselves?” As women and women leaders, we too still experience domestic violence, unhealthy mother-daughter relationships, betrayal, mental illness, depression and a longing to be loved married and have a family. All too often these topics are not addressed nor discussed and are at times considered “taboo”.
Reviving the Beloved Within will further address pertinent questions of vulnerability. How do we hold it together as we’re seeking the help we need ? And what is appropriate vulnerability in a society (home, work, church) where people hurt you over and over again and/or use your issue against you? ie. What does emotional wellness look like with ourselves (within) and others when we feel we have a constant need to protect ourselves. How can we learn to be authentic with others and not get hurt? Is it even possible? What are the appropriate boundaries? Can we trust God to restore us and those relationships which seem impossible to heal? “How does dealing with hurt affect us physically and mentally?”
Whether you are single or married, long-time Christ-follower or just beginning your journey of faith, woman or man, this Conference is for you! Join in this empowering movement of healing with women and men from North Carolina, Georgia, California, Toronto and Montreal, Canada in Winston-Salem, North Carolina for this momentous time of revival, healing and inner transformation.
